About Salt
Salt is an 84ft Monte Fino luxury motor yacht available for private charter on Sydney Harbour. With capacity for up to 49 guests across multiple decks — sun lounge, swim platform, top deck, aft deck, bar, saloon, flybridge and master cabin — Salt offers a premium venue on the water for corporate events, birthdays, bucks/hens parties, and special occasions.
The vessel features a full bar, spacious saloon, flybridge with panoramic views, and a swim platform with water toys including stand-up paddle boards and a splash pond. Catering and beverage packages are available, or guests can BYO food and drinks (fees apply).
Charter rates vary by season with a 4-hour minimum. Waitstaff are included based on guest numbers. Sydney Harbour pick-up and drop-off available, with surcharges for Manly and Middle Harbour.
December: $1,600 per hour (minimum 4 hours)
Peak (1 Nov – 31 Mar, excl. December): $1,550 per hour (minimum 4 hours)
Off-Peak (1 Apr – 31 Oct): $1,350 per hour (minimum 4 hours)
Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Australia Day, Boxing Day: $2,000 per hour (5 hour minimum on Boxing Day, NYD & Australia Day). 50% surcharge on waitstaff fees.
Other Public Holidays: 20% surcharge on boat hire and waitstaff fees.
NYE (6pm – 1am, 7 hours): $51,500 BYO charter or $58,950 all-inclusive food & beverage package. Based on 40 guests. Additional guests up to 49 @ $600pp BYO or $900pp all-inclusive.
BYO Fees
- BYO Food: $10 per person ($250 minimum) — includes use of cooking facilities and equipment
- BYO Beverages: $25 per person — includes ice, glassware and cool storage
- Note: BYO beverages not permitted Thursday–Saturday in December (pre-Christmas)
Waitstaff (included, 4 hours)
- 1–9 guests: one waitstaff
- 10–20 guests: two waitstaff
- 21–36 guests: three waitstaff
- 37–49 guests: four waitstaff
$350 per waitstaff for 4 hours. Additional hours at $75 per hour.

How many guests can Salt accommodate?
Salt can accommodate up to 49 guests for day charters, making her one of the largest charter vessels available on Sydney Harbour.
What is the minimum charter duration?
The minimum charter duration is 4 hours. Some public holidays have a 5-hour minimum.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Yes, BYO food is $10 per person ($250 minimum) and BYO beverages are $25 per person (includes ice, glassware and cool storage). Note: BYO beverages are not permitted Thursday to Saturday in December (pre-Christmas).
Are waitstaff included?
Yes, waitstaff are included based on guest numbers: 1 for 1-9 guests, 2 for 10-20 guests, 3 for 21-36 guests, and 4 for 37-49 guests. This covers 4 hours; additional hours are $75 per waitstaff.
What water toys are available?
Salt offers a complimentary lilypad on all charters, stand-up paddle boards at $60 each, a Splash Pond at $200, an AQUA Package (Splash Pond + 2 SUPs) at $300, and a Brig Eagle Tender (11 person) at $1,150.
Where does the boat depart from?
Salt departs from Sydney Harbour. A $200 surcharge applies for each pick-up or drop-off in Manly or Middle Harbour. Wharf fees are $50 per use.
What are the NYE rates?
New Year's Eve is a 7-hour charter (6pm to 1am) at $51,500 BYO or $58,950 all-inclusive food and beverage package. Based on 40 guests; additional guests up to 49 at $600pp BYO or $900pp all-inclusive.
Is there a sound system on board?
Yes — Salt has a premium sound system with indoor and outdoor speakers. Connect your phone via Bluetooth and play your own playlist.
Can we swim from the boat?
Yes — Salt carries a range of water toys including stand-up paddle boards and a splash pond. The crew will anchor at a sheltered spot for swimming.
