Frequently Asked Questions
Here are the questions we get asked most often. For anything else, get in touch and we will help you out.
How much does it cost to hire a boat on Sydney Harbour?
Charters start from $325 per hour for our catamarans up to $1,600 per hour for our luxury motor yacht. A 4-hour private charter typically ranges from $1,300 to $2,400. A 25% deposit secures your date.
How many guests can the boats accommodate?
Our fleet handles groups from 6 to 49 guests. Catamarans range from 20 to 30 guests for day charters, while our luxury motor yacht takes up to 49. Overnight stays are available for up to 6 guests.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
Yes — all charters are BYO with no corkage fee. We provide cups, plates, cutlery, and BBQ gear. Full catering options are also available if you prefer.
Where do charters depart from?
We can pick up from any public wharf around Sydney Harbour — Rose Bay, Circular Quay, Darling Harbour, Barangaroo, Watsons Bay and more. Just let us know your preferred location.
How far in advance should I book?
Book 2 to 4 weeks ahead for weekends, especially in peak season (October to March). For New Year's Eve and Australia Day, book months in advance. Weekday charters can often be arranged with shorter notice.
What happens if it rains?
If conditions are unsafe, we will reschedule your charter at no cost. Light rain doesn't mean cancellation — our catamarans have covered cabin areas. We monitor forecasts and will contact you ahead of time.
